Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Rosé 2012, 75 cl

Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Rosé 2012, 75 cl

Regular price £64.90

Whatever you may think of Moet's Non Vintage Champagne, the Vintages are consistently of a very high quality and offer what we believe to be superb value. Vintage Champagne means quite simply all the grapes must come from the year stated on the label - rather than Non vintage which is mostly a blend of a number of different grapes from differing years. Here we offer Moet's 2012 vintage which is most certainly one of their more delicate releases and no worse for that. A beautiful coral colour makes the Champagne look very attractive straight away. Light citrus fruit aligned with very gentle acidity means it's highly drinkable too. Please note this is not in a gift box Read more.

Moet & Chandon remains to be the largest House within the region- considerably larger than any of its competitors. Claude Moet was the visionary behind this brand establishing the Maison back in 1743. One of their most famous (or should that be infamous) fans was none other than Napoleon who it is said took bottles of Moet & Chandon wherever he travelled.

    Tasting Notes

Superb value for the price. A blend of 43% Pinot Noir, 23% Pinot Meunier and 35% Chardonnay.

    French 75 Recipe

We've all been there. You receive a bottle of sparkling wine as a gift and it's fair to say you're less than impressed. If that's you, you might be looking for a quick and easy cocktail to transform your fizz into a sweet and zesty delight. The bonus is, it's a super simple recipe with just 4 ingredients, so it's the perfect quick win to impress guests. Gin AND fizz?! In one cocktail?! Hell yes to that. The classic French 75 brings two of our favourite bevs together in one drink, and you can swap champagne for any sparkling wine. The French 75 is a classic, a drink that dates back to World War I. How's this for a fun fact? The cocktail is named after a 75 millimeter wartime field gun - but hey, we know you're not here for a history lesson. Keep reading for how to make the iconic cocktail.
