Sheppy's has been making cider in the West Country for over 200 years now and have won numerous awards along the way. David Sheppy, the current Master of Cider, represents the family's sixth generation. All their ciders are fermented using wild yeast, with a number of the ciders then undergoing maturation in French Oak barrels. The cidery is well worth a visit if you're ever near Bradford-On-Tone. Sheppy’s Somerset Cider is a crisp, fruity, traditionally blended cider that’s designed to be a potent thirst-quencher. It’s made using sweet apples from Sheppy’s family farm, meaning they have full control of the quality of fruit that goes into every single bottle. They also make Sheppy’s Original Cloudy Cider, a blend of their Traditional Cider and pure cloudy apple juice to create a lightly sparkling medium sweet flavour.
