Fever-Tree

Tonic Waters

Fever-Tree began in 2003 with a meeting of minds and one simple premise: if three quarters of your Gin and Tonic is the tonic, shouldn’t you mix with the best? With a commitment to put quality back into tonic, founders Tim and Charles trawled through history books and poured over maps to locate the world’s finest ingredients, eventually travelling great lengths to get a hold of them. Quinine is the key ingredient that creates the gentle bitterness in tonic water. After discovering early 17th century references in the British library, Charles and Tim located one of the only remaining plantations of Fever-Trees in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which produces some of the highest quality quinine in the world. Fever-Tree’s Indian Tonic Water still uses same quinine today which was found by Tim and Charles on one of their first trips.
