Description
Moet & Chandon remains to be the largest House within the region- considerably larger than any of its competitors. Claude Moet was the visionary behind this brand establishing the Maison back in 1743. One of their most famous (or should that be infamous) fans was none other than Napoleon who it is said took bottles of Moet & Chandon wherever he travelled.
Tasting Notes
Moet & Chandon's 75th Grande Vintage release was characterised by an October grape harvest- the first time this had happened in over 20 years. The Champagne itself has a lovely golden hue with fine bubbles (crucial to ensure flavours are fully expressed). Rich, honeyed notes mingle with nutty characters whilst there is just enough white citrus fruit to bring a slight zestiness. For those of you curious, the blend is almost equal parts Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.

We've all been there. You receive a bottle of sparkling wine as a gift and it's fair to say you're less than impressed. If that's you, you might be looking for a quick and easy cocktail to transform your fizz into a sweet and zesty delight. The bonus is, it's a super simple recipe...
