Disappointing

Purchased these on 7th May 2023 and didn't realise until after a couple of them had already been consumed (a few weeks later) that the expiry date was May 2023. Was planning to save the majority for the summer but wasn't keen on giving myself and any guests stomach ache so they were then useless. Customer service was even worse- when I emailed them they asked me for photographic evidence of the expiry date which I sent three times. It's now August and I still haven't had any response from them. Twenty three pounds might not be a massive amount of money but the full order came to eighty five pounds and I don't think it's acceptable to sell products with such a short expiry date, or at least make it clear in the product description- which it did not. Sadly I wouldn't shop from here again after this experience.
