Vestal Black Cherry Vodka, 70 cl

If you're going to start somewhere, start somewhere good - so we begin with our crafted potato vodka as a base. Distilled and filtered just once to ensure the flavour and personality of the potatoes we use remain intact. Then we add; in this case ripe, luscious black cherry. And so, to the nose; here a delightful hit of cherry (obviously), is followed by suggestions of cacao and marzipan. The palette detects a rich, pleasing sweetness balanced with the tart nuance of ripe fruit. All of which delivers a clean flavour experience, not oversaturated with sugars. The finish, then, is long with a whiff of chocolate and a suggestion of mint. Again indulge neat or mixed in a cocktail, because this is most certainly an indulgence. Read more.
