Tiptree English Rhubarb Gin Liqueur, 70 cl

Regular price £32.49
Rhubarb is one of the first crops of the year on the Tiptree Farm in Essex, where we have been growing fruit since the 1800s. Is it a fruit, or is it perhaps a vegetable? Either way, Tiptree English Rhubarb Gin Liqueur delivers that distinctive sweet, yet tart, combination.Enjoy sipped straight over ice, add some Ginger Ale for a 'Rhubarb & Ginger' or some Cream Soda for a 'Rhubarb & Custard', or add a dash to Prosecco for 'Rhubarbubbles'. Description
The first ‘Tiptree’ conserves were made in 1885 on the Tiptree estate and are still made here to this day. Fruit crops include strawberries, loganberries, mulberries and damsons to name but a few. Our signature fruit is the Little Scarlet strawberry, a tiny wild variety, originally brought to the UK by the Wilkin family in the early 1900's. We believe that we are unique in the world in growing this difficult crop, but it is worth it for the quality of conserve it provides.
There is no compromise on style or substance.

Gin & Tonic Cocktail Recipe
Gin & Tonic. If you can say it, you can make it. Right? Right. But also, not exactly. The two-ingredient cocktail requires your undivided attention. From glassware to garnish to style of gin and spirit proof, everything should be carefully considered when mixing a G&T. A Gin & Tonic made with a potent base—45% ABV and above, if you mean business—and configured with two parts tonic to one part gin is a highball of balance and beauty. Too much gin, and the botanical spirit will overshadow the unique qualities of the tonic. Too much tonic, and it will drown the gin. There is endless room for experimentation within those two ingredients. With hundreds of gins on the market and dozens of tonics, a good G&T is a mix-and-match exercise to find the combination that best suits your tastes. London dry gins are characterized by their juniper-forward flavor profile; modern-style gins often dial down the juniper and ramp up the citrus and florals.
