Perrier Jouet Blason Rose Champagne, 75 cl
Regular price £68.95
What a pretty bottle and a lovely Champagne to boot. A graceful, luminous rose colour, shot through with glints of pale orange. Its fine, lively and persistent sparkle lends it an intense freshness with lots of cirrus fruit such as pears, apricots and blood orange. Fresh and light it may be but it could still stand up well if served whilst you are eating the likes of Salmon or Scallops. Read more.

Description
The Champagne House of Perrier Jouet was founded in 1811. Since that time there have only been 7 Cellar Masters with the current Master, Herve Deschanps, taking over and remaining in charge since 1993. The Champagnes have been renowned for their light and floral nature. And that should come as little surprise when you realise that they own many of the best vineyards in the Chardonnay driven areas of legendary Cramant, Avize and Ay.

French 75 Recipe
We've all been there. You receive a bottle of sparkling wine as a gift and it's fair to say you're less than impressed. If that's you, you might be looking for a quick and easy cocktail to transform your fizz into a sweet and zesty delight. The bonus is, it's a super simple recipe with just 4 ingredients, so it's the perfect quick win to impress guests. Gin AND fizz?! In one cocktail?! Hell yes to that. The classic French 75 brings two of our favourite bevs together in one drink, and you can swap champagne for any sparkling wine. The French 75 is a classic, a drink that dates back to World War I. How's this for a fun fact? The cocktail is named after a 75 millimeter wartime field gun - but hey, we know you're not here for a history lesson. Keep reading for how to make the iconic cocktail.
