Louis Jadot Pouilly Fuisse, 75 cl

Regular price £19.99
One of the most famous white wines in the world and one for which Louis Jadot is justifiably famous; a lovely rich wine that shows the true delights of Chardonnay, soft and elegant with a rich mouth feel. Delicate use of oak instead of some of the block buster experiences seen from Australia in years gone by (admittedly that is changing but you hopefully see what I mean). Read more.

Description
Louis Jadot has built itself an enviable reputation of producing consistently high quality wines down the years. This is in no small part due to their strategy of buying up some of the better plots of land in Burgundy. If like me you have relatives (Father in Law in my case) who insist on drinking French wine then Louis Jadot will rarely let you down.

White Wine Spritzer Recipe
Everyone loves to have an opinion on pretty much every type of drink, and that's true for wines as well as spirits. Whether you're with or against adding soda water to your wine, you should know how to make and serve this refreshing drink. It is a lovely summer wine spritzer recipe, great for hosting as it is so easy. It is also one of our lowest calorie cocktail options, as it's such a light choice. As you might be able to guess from the name, a wine spritzer combines wine (usually white) and club soda, with garnishes. For a basic wine spritzer formula, pour 3 ounces of white wine over ice, then top with 1 ounce of club soda. Garnish with an orange peel and a splash of citrus bitters.
