Description
Leffe Winter, also known as Leffe de Noël, is the seasonal abbey style beer from Leffe in Belgium. It pours a deep mahogany with a thick creamy head. Plum, raisin and dark malt lead the way, with a touch of caramel, a little bitterness and festive hints of clove and nutmeg.
At 6.6% it is gentle for a Christmas beer, so it is a great place to start if you are new to the style. Bring it out with the cheeseboard or a roast dinner. Serve chilled in a Leffe chalice with a slab of mature Cheddar.
