Description
Delirium Noël, sold in some markets as Delirium Christmas, is the seasonal special from Brouwerij Huyghe, the Belgian brewery behind Delirium Tremens. It pours a deep chestnut amber with a creamy head. Think caramel, toasty brown bread, dates, raisins and figs, with a hint of orange and cinnamon on the finish.
At 10% ABV it is big and warming, so it is one to sip slowly while the fire crackles. It works brilliantly with rich Christmas food. Serve it lightly chilled in a tulip glass alongside a slice of Christmas pudding.
