Bulmers

When you crave the authentic taste of 100% British apple cider, all you need to do is reach for a Bulmers. The brand first sprang from humble beginnings in 1887, when Henry Percival Bulmer pressed a batch of apples from his father’s orchard in Hereford. He wasn’t much of an academic you see, old Percy, and had failed to make his way in school. Cider gave him something to focus on, and by the time his brother Fred graduated from Cambridge, Percy had laid the foundations for a great business, albeit from their neighbour’s barn, where the first versions of Bulmers were made, using an old abandoned stone-mill to crush the apples.

The foundations turned out to be made of strong stuff, and Percy & Fred’s business survived two world wars, as well as the export limitations of prohibition. All this means we’re now able to bring you bottles of Bulmers Original Premium Cider as well as Bulmers Crushed Red Berry & Lime, available to buy today, right here in our online shop.
