Christmas Drinking - the bottles you shouldn't be without this festive season

There’s no doubt about it, Christmas is the time to indulge. For many of us, that means partaking in a few cheeky tipples as part of the celebration.

Gordon's Sloe Gin

Gordon’s Sloe Gin was first launched in 1908, but a fabulous new version has brought it back to life. A classic blend, this takes the dryness of Gordon’s with cassis sweetness in a clear bottle that shows off the rich, dark berry colour and great taste.



Rubis Chocolate Wine

Sure to be a favourite this year, who doesn't want a combination of two of the nations favourite things - wine and chocolate! A luxurious combination of bold Cherry, Spices, fresh Vanilla and Chocolate. As you might expect this is very sweet, but such is the quality of the chocolate Rubis has sourced, this is not overbearing at all and in fact has a gentle and alluring richness as well.

 

Graham's 10YO Tawny Port

Port is fantastic for sipping at the end of the meal with a nice fire rolling and some cheeses and deserts spread out to enjoy. - Bliss. This Particular Port is a Fine deep tawny colour with complex nutty aromas combined with hints of honey and figs. On the palate, rich mature fruit flavours beautifully mellowed with a luscious finish.

 

Laplandia Vodka

What better vodka for the festive period than Laplandia Vodka?! The result of a partnership between a diamond jeweller and an ex Roadie, Laplandia is produced by the Shaman Distillery which lies in a remote area on the Lapland border. The ancient Lake Hirsijavi provides the distillery with its water and is thought to have existed since the Ice Age. The vodka comes from hand-grown wheat and is 7 times distilled in column stills. By adding a tiny drop of natural honey the vodka becomes exceptionally smooth

 

Moet & Chandon Gold Fairy

Is it even Christmas if there's no bubbly? This Moet bottle couldnt get much more festive! The colour is an elegant golden straw yellow with amber highlights. Its aromas reveal an exotic fruitiness - yellow peach, plum - with floral nuances (lime blossom) and elegant blond notes (brioche and fresh nuts). The palate is seductive and generous, combining intensity with roundness, fullness with suppleness, followed by a lively crisp finish to reveal the magical balance of champagne.
