This special edition of Veuve Clicquot Rosé, featuring a poster to colour in, is a tribute to the innovative universe of the maison. In 1818, Madame Clicquot invented the first known blended Rosé Champagne ever that you can enjoy and share today for its liveliness and burst of fruits. With expressive aromas of strawberry, and a full-bodied, structured, vinous palate which stays fresh, Veuve Clicquot Rosé is defined by its length and character. Perfectly paired with tuna, beef carpaccio, red fruits, or even tomato, enjoy Veuve Clicquot Rosé throughout your meal or as an aperitif. Read more.

Description
Made using 50 to 60 different crus, and 30 to 45% of Reserve wines, the cuvée is based on Yellow Label’s traditional blend: the Pinot Noir predominance (50-55%) provides the structure that is so typically Veuve Clicquot, while Chardonnay (28-33%) adds the elegance and finesse essential in a perfectly balanced wine, and a touch of Meunier (15-20%) rounds out the blend. The blend is then completed with 12% of still red wine using red grapes, providing fruitiness.
Tasting Notes
On the nose: The nose is generous and elegant with initial aromas of fresh red fruits (raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry, blackberry) leading to biscuity notes (almond, apricot and brioche). On the palate: Full bodied and deliciously fruity with intense flavours of juicy ripe strawberries and cherries. A burst of red fruits and the expression of Madame Clicquot’s ingenious and audacious spirit.

French 75 Recipe
We've all been there. You receive a bottle of sparkling wine as a gift and it's fair to say you're less than impressed. If that's you, you might be looking for a quick and easy cocktail to transform your fizz into a sweet and zesty delight. The bonus is, it's a super simple recipe with just 4 ingredients, so it's the perfect quick win to impress guests. Gin AND fizz?! In one cocktail?! Hell yes to that. The classic French 75 brings two of our favourite bevs together in one drink, and you can swap champagne for any sparkling wine. The French 75 is a classic, a drink that dates back to World War I. How's this for a fun fact? The cocktail is named after a 75 millimeter wartime field gun - but hey, we know you're not here for a history lesson. Keep reading for how to make the iconic cocktail.
