Description
St Feuillien Cuvee de Noel is the brewery's Christmas abbey beer, made every winter since 1969. It pours a deep ruby brown with a firm, creamy head. Roasted malts and candi sugar give it rich caramel flavour, and there is a warm hit of herbs and festive spice on the nose.
At 9% it feels full and smooth, with only a gentle bitterness, so it is easy to settle in with. Serve it lightly chilled, around 8 degrees, next to a hearty beef stew.
