From the same stable that brings you Whispering Angel, this is a serious step up. Don't let the paleness of this wine lull you into thinking this is anything other than very complex. Delicate notes of stoned fruit and Provence herbs with a long, dry finish. This is a serious wine that is seriously satisfying

Caves d'Esclans is the brightest new star of the Cotes de Provence. Established in 2006 when Bordeaux-born Sacha Lichine bought the Chateau d'Esclans, this dynamic producer harnesses both the chateau-grown grapes and fruit from local growers to create a stunning range of highly sought-after wines. Patrick Leon, the former winemaker at Mouton-Rothschild, oversees production.
Tasting notes
A serious wine that's seriously satisfying. A blend of Grenache and the not often encountered Rolle grapes.
