This easy and refreshing summer sangria with cherries and oranges is a fun twist on sangria that utilises fresh summer produce.  Once you try it, we think you’ll be hooked! It’s a crowd pleaser for sure, so feel free to double or quadruple this recipe and serve in a pitcher for your friends.

So here’s how to make your sangria! It’s made with just a few ingredients (including the fruit) and there are NO simple syrups involved. Just wine, fruit, and delicious cherry flavours. The simpler the better!

  • 1 glass of red wine

  • 1/4 cup sweet cherry juice,

  • 1/4 cup raspberry or orange liqueur, adjust to suit your taste

  • Cherries (fresh or frozen), orange slices, apple slices and/or raspberries - or whatever summer fruits you fancy!


  1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and stir.
  2. Fill a large glass with ice and fruit of your choice.
  3. Pour over ice and enjoy.
