Description
Filled with the desire to bottle this life for all the world to try, Vantguard ventured out to create its own version of CACHAÇA, with Brazilian soul and premium body. Adapting the traditional spirit with differentiated nuances and aromas and mixing it as has never been mixed before. Thus CAPUCANA was created. A unique blend of sugar canes distilled and finally rounded off in American oak barrels previously used for bourbon, which are then left to further mature in the magical region of Islay, aged with peat-distilled malt whisky.
Tasting Notes
Stewed fruit and very grassy in character with honey blossom, vanilla and pear

Caipirinha Recipe
Olá! The Caipirinha cocktail is the true taste of Brazil, as much of a staple in their culture as carnivals and football. One part of this is it is made with Brazil’s national spirit, Cachaça. It’s similar to rum, but it has a flavour all its own. Most rums are distilled from molasses, while cachaça is distilled from the fermented juice of sugar cane. This important difference creates a distinct spirit that is characterised by its funky flavour, which sets the Caipirinha apart from other sweet-and-sour cocktails like the Daiquiri. The Caipirinha is easy to make and can be constructed right in the glass, making it a great choice for constructing at home at a summery garden party. Lime juice and simple syrup won’t get the job done: The drink specifically calls for lime wedges and golden caster sugar, but these aren’t hard to come by. The classic Caipirinha is not a cocktail that requires improvement, it is refreshing and flavourful, with a unique ability to bring you straight to the tropics, no matter where you’re drinking.
