    William Chase certainly seems to have the midas touch. He started his working life on the family farm supplying potatoes to Supermarkets which is testing at the best of times. As a result of a batch of potatoes being returned by a Supermarket for not beingpretty' enough, he struck upon the idea of turning his potatoes into chips. And so Tyrells was born. Some time later he realised that Vodka could be made straight from potato as well and soon after that Chase Distillery was born and has since gone on to become one of the most recognisable British brands. The Gins are distilled from an apple vodka (yet more influence from the family's farm) which in turn has been distilled from Cider.
