5 Apricot Cocktails You Need To Try
Apricot might just be one of the most overlooked fruits when it comes to a cocktail - so we thought it about time we highlight some of the impressive cocktail recipes that feature this underutilised ingredient!

This is a great twist on the classic dour, using Bols Apricot Brandy instead of whisky makes this a fruity and slightly herbal cocktail.
- 45ml Bols Apricot Brandy
- 30ml Fresh Lemon juice
- 10ml Sugar syrup (2:1
- Apricot Slices
Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain in a short drink glass over cubed ice. Garnish with apricot slices and mint.
Another variation on a classic. This fruity, citric cocktail is a lot like the sour, but topped up with soda water. Adding Soda water brings the fizz and prolongs the enjoyment!

- 30 ml fresh Lemon juice
- 15 ml Sugar syrup
- Top With Soda
Pour the apricot brandy, lemon juice and sugar syrup into a class and top with soda.

- 50 ml Bols Apricot Brandy
- 90 ml Dark Rum
- 30 ml Fresh Lime juice
- 20 ml Patron Citronge Orange Liqueur
Shake all ingredients with ice. Fine strain into a pre-chilled glass.
Even though the naming of this cocktail is a tad unusual this cocktail is perfectly balanced, we recommend drinking it as an aperitif!
- 30 ml. Light rum
- 30 ml. Sweet vermouth
- 4 Dashes Bols Apricot Brandy
- 4 Dashes Lemon Juice
- 2 Dashes Grenadine Syrup
Fill a shaker with ice cubes. Add all ingredients. Shake and strain into a cocktail glass.
Jammy Apricot Gin
If there’s something even better than jam and toast, it’s jam and gin, and this apricot gin cocktail proves it!
- 30 ml of Gin
- 2 Teaspoon of Apricot Jam
- 30 ml of Passionfruit Juice
- 10 ml of Lime Juice, Preferably Freshly Squeezed
- Chill Glass
- Fill Glass with ice
- Spoon in the apricot jam on top of the ice
- Top with gin and stir until the apricot jam has dissolved
- Pour in the passionfruit and lime juice
- Garnish with lime.
